Our story
Growing community since 1979.
Rice Lane City Farm began when local people in Walton came together to turn an overlooked patch of land into somewhere special. Since then, generations of families, volunteers and visitors have helped the farm grow into a welcoming green space where people can meet animals, learn about nature, get involved and enjoy a little countryside in the city.
Today, weโre still all about bringing people together โ caring for our animals, supporting learning and wellbeing, creating opportunities to volunteer, and keeping this much-loved community farm thriving for future generations.
